I probably did speak those words. They cut to the essence, in my mind, of what it means to be Gorean. Too many people make the mistake of thinking that "Gorean" is defined by the Master/slave relationship. For the books are replete with tales of Masters and their slaves, and the complex and intricate relationships which exist in the Gorean Master/slave context. Gor is so much more than just Masters and slaves. It is about Honor, Loyalty, Courage, Strength, Trust and Truth. It is about living as nature intended: it is about men being men, and women being women. It is a call to each of us, here on this planet, to open our eyes, to seek answers not that society tells us are correct, but that our hearts tell us are correct. The fact remains that no one can live the "real" r/t Gorean lifestyle. Just like Gorean Shores, and any other tavern online, can never be exactly like the "real" Gorean taverns. What we must do is take what we can from the books and use those concepts and ideas to try to get as close to Gor as we can. Sometimes we get very, very close. Xern
