: : Tal Rollo ......Greetings all : In essence to your opinion Rollo I would agree with you on nearly all the points you have yourself raised ........this matter could well have been avoided by Marius withdrawing his hand from his sword as was requested of him by Myself when He did so as up until that point ...there was little more than a discussion taking place between two men over as you so rightly put it a difference of opinion ... : I unfortunately did not C/P any of the conversation prior to My entrance to Tavern ....nor after the event but as far as I am aware the slave kha has some of the posts including the incident with the quiva.... : As can be seen by My responses to Marius's posts I have given this man ample opportunity to resolve this matter peacefully without loss of honour on either side ....But it would appear to No avail : In My first response which I directed to Xern , Moonglow and yourself ...I stated that I was willing to abide by any decision made by the Council of Captains in regards to this matter ....and would say again perhaps a little clearer that if the decision is to stage this match here at GS ....then I shall abide by that .....My only condition would of course be in regards to Judges .... : I would say here and now that in No way does this condition throw any aspertions on any heres Honour in judging such matters as important as a Match of Honour .....But as We have all discussed and admitted at previous Forums ....the Home team player has a distinct advantage ...... : This and only this reason was My suggestion to hold this at a neutral site .....But as Marius has stated ....this is not of his liking. : Again ....I would also point out that My use of the 97th Aphorism of the codes was to try and make Marius aware of exactly what this matter involved .....and to attempt to make him see that as a man of Honour I would be prepared to stand in defence of My Brothers Honour in this matter. : : I can offer No evidence other than that which I have already stated previously in regards to this matter but would say that I do not nor am I prone to making or taking matters of this ilk lightly. : I can assure All here that the man Marius was not disrespected or threatened By Myself other than to be warned to remove His hand from the hilt of His weapon ....On this I swear by My pledge to My Homestone and to My Codes. : As to the slave kha ......from what I saw she was in fact as you say Rollo explaining to Marius why her Jarl deemed it unneccessary to give her a title as FG or SG of the Lodge ..........those of you who know kha are aware of her nature and her reverence for the Free .......I have not seen her at any stage nor has it been reported to Me at any time that she has been anything less than respectfull to All Masters and Mistresses.........whilst I can see that at some stage one might find her to be so ......I can only go on the girls history and My own personal knowledge of her .....I do know however that she would never be disrespectfull intentionally to ANY Master or Mistress ....whether any choose to think so. : But I am not here to defend a slaves actions .... : : In regards to this matter ....All I have asked for to resolve this peacefully is an apology for the inference made against My Jarl and Brother ....... : If Honour need to be met over steel then so be it ......But again I will state that this was not My intention Nor wish in this matter . : : I thank you Rollo for your offer to act as intermediary in this ....and would thank you for the knowledge that Both I and kha are welcome in your Home .. : On that note . : I wish you well : DaemonStorm
