: I would like if I may to address this matter regarding Marius ..... : I was summoned by My R/T slave kha over remarks made by this man about My Jarl ....LongKnife of the Great Lodge .....I read the back posts and and agreed with the remarks and found them to be of a disparaging nature in regards to the "weakness" of My Jarl ....I pointed out to Marius that His words were wrong and asked Him to think again in regards to knowing what was weak in a Master and what was not ....He then placed His hand on His sword ........I informed Him that unless He was willing to draw He should remove His hand .....and that if He wished He could make this a matter of Honour By challenging Me : He drew His sword ......I then assumed By His actions that a challenge had been made and set out the conditions of such : these being a neutral site .......three judges ....one of His choice , one of Mine and an independent .......I also asked that this matter take place seven hours later than when the incident happened to enable more to be online to be able to choose from should this matter have come to this ... : I was informed that this was unacceptable to Him and that He would only fight in this place : there were after that a series of insults and a weapon thrown at My person ........which I did not act upon as I do not wish to bring dishonour upon My Homestone : : Rollo you know Me and know that I am a level headed chap and would not take matters this seriously unless they were needed to on My part .. : I will respect any decision made by the Council of Captains here at GS and will look in to see what has been decided : I wish all well : DaemonStorm DeamonStorm......the girl kha made a posted statement that her Jarl had shown her an act of kindness.....at that point I stated as is often quoted in the books..."too much kindness shown a slave can be an act of weakness, which works against the Master/slave relatioship...I said no more...I never called your Jarl weak......the bondsmaid at that point became very defensive...which I found personally insulting..for she is slave and I am a Warrior...I told the girl to go...I would have been well within my rights as a FreePerson to kill the slave...yet I told her just to leave.....then you entered after a bit and saw half the conversation.....at which point you began threatening me.....I take threats from no one..least of all in my home.....if your bondsmaid cannot handle being talked to and instructed by a Master then I suggest you tie the girl and keep her home.....As to going to another site and fighting you, this I will not do...for I trust no other Gor site other than my home...If you feel the need to fight me over this than it will be here and to the death....I have no time for your petty posturing...come and fight and get it over with or leave me alone..I have no other quarrell with you other than finding you personally offensive and boring.....and keep your bondsmaid from here or next time I will not be so lenient on her...
