Since one usually has to pay to register a name at a web site, most Goreans register their names only in a few sites. There is nothing to prevent a gamer or another of "adopting" a person's name and trying to cause ill-will by conducting wrongful activities under the false name. At Poolside, one way of combatting this is by recording the isp number of unregistered Goreans. Thus, if an unregistered patron comes into GS with a new isp, an astute person might question whether that individual is actually who they say they are. Obviously, it seems that someone at JAG is having some fun at GS patrons' expenses. Be cautious: I was once visiting another site, and a Brother of mine was suspicious, since I rarely travel to other sites. He sent an email to my address (which he already had) and asked me to confirm the email. Once I was able to do so, we were both assured that we were each who we said we were. There is an old Russian proverb: Trust, but verify. I wish you all well. Xern
