A slave should always be very circumspect when writing a post, for her words must be carefully considered. However, there has not to date been a restriction on a slave posting her thoughts on the message board, whether in response to a Free Person's post or not. There has, to date, been no need for such restrictions. Should a Free Person have a problem (such as with the tone) with a slave's post on the Message Board, the proper response would be similar to what a Free Person should do any time a slave is found displeasing: contact her Master and take it up with him. Or, if the slave has no Master, then deal directly with the slave. The Message Board is different from being in the tavern, to the extent that normally a slave would request permission from the Free Persons before entering a conversation with them. Since that cannot be done on the Message Board in a timely manner, slaves are free to post their responses to any and all messages. Feel free to take part in any discussion you wish on the Message Board, ariel. Just keep in mind that a slave is expected to always be pleasing, even on a Message Board. Xern
