What makes a man, a * TRUE Gorean Master *....?????

Is it the number of slaves He owns ???? Is one slave enough ??? Or does it take two or more to make him a True Master ??? Is He a better Master if He has 4 ??? 5 ??? 8 ??? ... Is it how tough He talks in the Tavern ??? Is it how many quotes He can throw at you from the books ??? Is it how many kajira He has * furred * Is it the number of friends He has ??? Is it the number of enemies He has ??? Is it the title or position that He holds in any given on-line Gor room or site ??? Is it the size of the sword or axe He carries ??? Is it the size of His ego ???

Just as Xern said, I am very wary of any person that proclaims themselves * True Gorean * For these usually are the type of person that has lost the plot, or can’t see clearly past their own opinion......

For Me, the answer is found in a quote from the book that I identify with so much, that I took My name from it..... A quote from the codes of the warriors ...... “ Be strong, and do what You will..... The swords of others will set You Your limits ...” Now this code has proven itself to Me not only in the literal sense, in My RT past....... but also in a VT application as well...... On-line, the swords of others are words.......We use words not only to communicate, but also as weapons at times......... How we are seen, and how we see others depends on the actions each uses towards the other..... So once again, to basically agree with what Xern said....... in My opinion, it matters little if You think that you are a Gorean Master..... or even if You call Yourself a * True * Gorean Master..... Because the ONLY persons that can bestow such an honor on ANY person, are his peers..... When you call Yourself something, it may well be only wishful thinking........ But when others call You that same thing, then You have truly earned. the title........

So I leave the answer to you........ I know who I consider to be Gorean........ and I know who I don’t...... You need to answer such a question for Yourself, because nobody else can do it for You........
