: Tal, and greetings all.......... : : I am pleased to see that both Marius and DaemonStrom have been able to sit down and speak as MEN about the misunderstanding that came between them....... A man should never shirk His honor.... but he should also be wise enough to see the difference between a misunderstanding and hasty action , and a real insult ....... : .I have known both of these Rarius for some time.... I have NEVER had reason to question either’s Honor, Courage or Wisdom...... This solution that They have come to only goes to prove that My opinions were well founded ...... And I look forward to moving on from here, and getting things back to normal...... Normal ???? LOL..LOL... Well as normal as things here on Gor ever are......LOL.... : I am glad to see that two Men, BOTH of which I call FRIEND, are not at odds with each other once again.... If there is anything to be learned from this matter, it is that while a man should ALWAYS be ready and willing to defend His Home, His Honor, and His Brothers..... It is not always the how quick his sword is ..... or his words..... We as men have certain traits or habits...... being quick to anger is one of those that has throughout history caused more damage than good........LOL... I KNOW ...... Rollo has fought with a MOST foul temper His whole life....... it has cost Me DEARLY..... in pain.... in blood..... in loss of friends....... and in the end in self respect...... When a man fights alone.... lives alone.. and has NONE to call friend or brother, we needs that edge sometimes to stay alive...... But once we come together.. form friendships..... companionships.....brotherhoods........ We must learn to CONTROL the * beast within *..... None here have ever had a harder time than Myself in trying to learn this ability..... so how could I fault any other man for doing such....... Let Me just once again state how glad I am to see Marius, and DaemonStorm show better sense than I have shown Myself at times.......LOL..LOL.... And end this whole affair with Honor and common sense, and NOT bloodshed........ : Also, after reading the responses to the postings I will be sure to get My friend Shadowglade to be My campaign manager should I ever decide to run for office........LOL..LOL..... Just kidding, but it is always good to know that Your thoughts and opinions are held in high regard by at least some of those that You deal with, and call * Friend *....... I thank Shadowglade for His words , and for His opinion of Me.... : For lets face it..... on-line ..... It is ONLY our words and actions that people base their opinions of us on..... Most, if not all of you will never meet Me in RT, or most of those we deal with daily for that matter..... You will never get to see the old man that sits on this side of the computer and share a meal with Him...... a drink...... an idea ...... or see into My eyes as we talk.... hear the timber of My voice as I tell you My feelings or ideas...... You will never know the way I treat My friends, or My enemies in RT..... Before I came to the internet.... I always lived by the creed * Actions speak louder than words * or * DEEDS, not Words *.... But now I find that on-line, others have no other way to come to know you except by what you * SAY * or how you say it...... So is it any wonder that if any are found to not tell the truth.... or to not show honor, that they are judged harshly ????? Honesty, Loyalty, and Consistency.. are the traits that show others that your on-line personage is the same as your RT self......And only by using them in your everyday dealings with all others will they come to see that the person ON the screen, is the same as the person BEHIND the screen........ : Well, enough of this.......As said before, I am glad that Marius and DaemonStorm have settled their difference.... and again I thank Shadowglade for His kind words......
